Technical glitch fixed, Future of Trump Village Shopping center meeting at Lincoln High School

Technical glitch fixed, first portion of part 1 had no audio.  New part 1a uploaded, original part 1 edited to remove the no sound portion, now calling it part 1b

On January 21, 2015, NYC Councilman Chaim Deutsch hosted a community meeting concerning builder Rubin Schron’s idea of knocking down the Trump Village Shopping Center and the adjoining Walgreens Shopping Center and building a 40 story residential tower and new shopping center.

Since the Trump Village Shopping Center was built on a former Manufactured Gas Plant, there is contamination buried in the ground.  The meeting started off with two representatives from the New York State Department of Environmental Conversation.  They just highlighted some facts about the site.  There will be another meeting on Jan 28 to go into further detail.

Next up was the builders representative who gave a overview presentation of their plans.

Finally there was the question and answer portion of the evening.  People from the community asked question from the representatives for DEC and the builder.

The videos are broken up in 30 minute sections.  I have the first 3 sections of over an hour and a half of unedited video online.  This covers both presentations plus some of the questions.  When i have the rest of the videos online, will make another post.
