The West 12th Street Amusement rides are located on West 12th Street from the Bowery to the entrance of Denos Wonder Wheel Park. They consist of the following rides.

The rides are in their winter hiatus, protected against the winter weather. The Coney Island rumor mill says due to the ride owners not paying rent to the land owner, the land owner placed chains and locks, locking out the ride owners. The ride owners are just walking away from operating the rides.
Researching for information on the Saturn 6, I found it is made by Mulligan Engineering. The ride is based on the Hurricane made first by Allan Herschell Company back in the 1940’s
The bumper cars is just a standard bumper car attraction.
The Polar Express is similar to other rides found around the world, including the Thunderbolt here in Coney Island. The same type of ride can also be found as the Music Express. People enjoy not only watch the Polar Express in operation, but listen to the music they play too. Sadly, they also attract the wrong crowd as several incidents happened here that required police intervention.
The Ghost Hole is a classic dark ride, a haunted house, just like the nearby Spook-a-rama. You ride in the dark and things pop out and scare you. The exterior is a attention getter. On the ground floor, you see a man constantly throwing up in a toilet bowl. Above the ground you see a devil stirring a cauldron, snakes that move and a alien that comes alive to scare you. After Superstorm Sandy flooded Coney Island, Ghost Hole was heavily damaged, but repaired and brought back to life.
Unless the ride owners pay the land owner the money they owe, or someone new steps in to operate the rides, the future of the rides, like the Ghost Hole, is a dark one.
